I have written previously regarding the game like attitude that the Dems have toward their election to Congress and is their motivation behind the actions they engage in while there. Having succeeded at their respective careers or having become adept at investing and spending their inheritances, they seek further sensory gratification in the big game, the game the Big Boys play, that of politics.
It seems their scoring method is to cause change, of any kind, in as big and spectacular a way as possible. A passing of a law is worth a few points, the repeal of a law, worth more, the repeal of a constitutional ammendment, bonus points, the sidestepping of the constitution to cause severe stress upon the People, takes the lead in the game.
The political gameboard has been the ultimate challenge for bored aristocrats of both parties for over 200 years. But now, available for the truly competitive gamer, an entirely new level of the game of power and corruption for the advanced, high scoring politician. World Government and Climate Control is the new game and the rules have been drawn and are not disputable.
Imagine, no longer limited by the boundaries of independent, sovereign nations, having the authority of a World Court at your disposal, you are beckoned to legislate, mandate, eradicate, and generally claw your way to a heretofore unimagined height of control over the poulation of the whole planet.
Be the first to confiscate millions of acres of private US property under the guise of Global Heritage Resource protection. Make law forbidding human activity in those areas, keeping them safe for the global good.
Envoke and enforce laws based on your wildest dreams, and watch the little people squirm. Watch the fat cat industrial capitalists cry and wail while their fortunes are used to develop poor, unmotivated societies at their expense.
Yes, there is no bigger stakes. There is no second or third place in the quest, be the ONE.
After you retire or are impeached from Congress, join the United Nations and RULE THE WORLD !!
