A VOTER’S REVOLT!!

Americans Uniting to Save America !!

The PRIMARY elections, not the general election, are critical to replacing congress members.

Taking into account the blatant corruption and elitist attitude of all members of Congress regardless of party; when it is understood that their refusal to obey the Constitution is intentional and without regard for We, the People; when voters realize that a total replacement of Congress is necessary; the primary elections of 2010 become far more important than the general election.

With the people of the nation facing the loss of their freedoms, and dis-satisfaction with government and its leadership growing rampantly, next year’s congressional primaries represent the first chance for voters to fire those responsible. It is Congress that has not only failed to protect the Constitution, but the Republican and Democrat parties have melded as one and are repealing our liberties and rights, and purposely usurping our authority and stealing our wealth, and they don’t even try to hide it anymore.

The 2010 congressional elections may be the last free elections Americans will ever see. I’m not joking, there’s nothing funny about any of this.

American voters have a chance to unite for a common purpose, to take our authority away from Congress. Democrat voters need to go to their polling place on the day of the primary election, and search the ballot for non-incumbent Democrat candidates they can feel good about voting for. Republican voters, do the same. If we wait until the general election, chances are that the person in office now will be the only candidate on the ballot from that party. We have to vote the incumbents out in the primary election.

If the incumbent representitive from your district is a Republican, republican voters need to pick anyone but that incumbent. If a Democrat is the incumbent congressman in your area, the dems need to do the same deed.

Republican and Democrat voters can vote their party line, and do not have to give in on your parties priniples to join together. We all need to pick a candidate that is an airline pilot, the owner of Jiffy Lube, the local high school gym coach, the president of the Colonial Baking and Quilting Club, etc. Anything as long as they are NOT the incumbent.

THE DUTY TO REBEL

There are many well thought and worded posts here calling for the people to rise up in rebellion to the tyranny we are experiencing and to take back our government. I agree that the present administration is in violation of the Constitution and federal law and is following a road to absolute dictatorial tyranny the kind of which we should not tolerate.
 
That document that grants us the authority to rebel lists what would be necessary to make such a rebellion legal and proper. Thomas Jefferson wrote in the Declaration of Indepenence,
 
"WE  hold these Truths to be self-evident, that all Men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life,  Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness—That to secure these Rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just Powers from the Consent of the Governed, that whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these Ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its Foundation on such Principles, and organizing its Powers in such Form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient Causes; and accordingly all Experience hath shewn, that Mankind are more disposed to suffer, while Evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the Forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long Train of Abuses and Usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object, evinces a Design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their Right, it is their Duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future Security."
 
Jefferson states that prudence will guide us not to throw of a government long established for transient causes. But he also says that when a long train of abuses leading to the same goal shows there to be a design for despotism. THEN it is our duty to rebel and reform the government according to our wishes.
 
While it is true that the Constitution has come to mean less and less to our federal officials, we did not ever consider it tyranny until it had actually become such, beginning January 20, 2009. Until the past six months we still held some hope that the election process could be the tool for peaceful. legal authority over the government.
 
Also, if you read on to the end of the Dec of Independence, it is the STATES who declared their independence and it was the STATES that created the Constitution. Therefore, I believe that it is only the STATES who can determine that tyranny has been suffered long enough. For the people to bring arms against the government without the states first acting and failing to abolish that government is illegal under the Constitution. The people must decide when they've been ignored long enough by the feds and give up trying to get them to act and, instead, focus all their anger and dissension at the state legislatures in an effort to convince them to pass state's rights resolutions that list the illegal actions by the feds, and resolve to abolish their contract with them, essetially firing the federal government.
 
A majority of state legislatures passing identical resolutions would be constitutionally legal and, in my opinion, garner the support of the Armed Forces. That will be absolutely necessary.
 
The reason all the law suits against Obama were dismissed because of lack of standing is because the PEOPLE must act throught the States, as they did in creating the USA, to have any authority. Individuals did not create the Constitution and are not covered by it. They lack standing in most relations with the feds.
 
While we've been under this attack for only six months, there is no time to lose.
 
Let's stop pi--ing in the wind by trying to influence federal officials. It is useless.
 
Let's put all our efforts where they will be legally recognized even if they are ignored, toward the State governments. It is the ONLY legal avenue for We the People to assert our authority, peacefully. If that fails, then we will speak of more unpleasant days to come.
 
I have posted a list of websites of all fifty states' governments that have e-mails of all state legislators. It is THESE legislators where we must focus our voices for it is only they that just might listen. We already know the feds won't.
 
E-mail them demanding they unite as they did in 1787, and fire the federal government, resetting the Constitution.

THIRTY STATES TO PASS SOVEREIGNTY RESOLUTIONS

A total of thirty US states have expressed their intention to pass a resolution notifying the federal government that the state is re-asserting their authority over their citizens, and will ignore all federal laws until the government ceases illegal, unconstitutional actions and submits to the authority that created the central gov't.
 
A Patrick Henry Caucus has been created by five states and has invited all states to join by sending state legislators as delegates to the monthly meetings.
 
The states, being the creators of the fed. gov't, are the entities who can legally replace the federal gov't. They must document specific violations of the Constitution, make demands that the feds stop their illegal ways, and, when ignored, can call on military officials to support their constitutional actions to declare the fed gov't null and void, having no authority, and being suspected criminals.
 
This is the only legal method that wiil be supported by the troops, which are essential to that end.
 
THERE IS CAUSE TO BE HOPEFUL ABOUT THE FUTURE OF OUR NATION!!

LEGAL PROCEDURES TO RECLAIM OUR AUTHORITY AS “THE PEOPLE”

The state of the union is not what it should be, to say the least. The free, public educational system has turned out a generation, maybe two or more, that have no idea of what an exceptional and near perfect document the Constitution is, and what that has meant in world history. Having been born here and never having to defend our nation against a direct threat to our borders or way of life, those Americans who came of age to vote in the past decade or two have no appreciation of what America has become and what she has done to aid all the people of the world in the 230 plus years of our existence.

Instead, the leftist idealism of social justice and economic equality have been the mantra to which these Americans have been raised. Fairness, above all else, is the perceived goal all the time being a means to the ultimate goal of total power over the people and their lives by the elitist, all knowing rulers.

When Barack Obama campaigned for the presidency he took up the cause of this generation and promised change that would bring a hope of real, tangible equality of all the people regardless of ability or merit. Obama promised what the teachers and professors had always said it should be and these ungreatful, spoiled children of America’s freedoms and greatness believed they could improve America per their ideals and it would be utopia for all. It is because of these two factors of our history, the educational brainwashing and the appearance of Barack Obama on the scene, that we see the Constitution being waylaid, ignored, side-stepped, and ridiculed as ancient, outdated, and in need of overhaul or outright abandonement.

Those of us who were raised by conscientious, responsible parents who taught us the truth about America’s unique history, those who have made their life’s work the defense and security of the people, have, for decades, seen and were worried by the intentional erosion of the government’s adherence to the Constitution, and have been witness to the corruption of our nation’s laws that was so dilligently forseen and excellently provided for in the Constitution.

The federal government has become the very thing the Constitution was written to prevent, a tyrannical collection of elitists competing for the spoils of their wanton fleecing of the people from whom they received their powers. This has been, in large part, due to the ever widening of responsibility the federal government has claimed and the willingness of the people to let them claim it, all in the name of equality. The left column of politicians see the government as being the cure-all and pre-imminent decider of all things, while the right side of the matter believes that the Constitution is near perfect enough to provide, as written, a solution to all needs and misdeeds that our nation will experience. The very basic premises of the Democratic Party, entitlements to the un-entitled, equality of living standards for all, governmental regulation of all things in society, are all in direct opposition to the intent of the Founders and to the word and purpose of the Constitution.

The purpose of the founders was limited government that served the will of the people, guaranteed the safety and sovereignty of the people, and imposed no restrictions not necessary to an orderly, civil pursuit of what each person decided to pursue. Benjamin Franklin said of government that the most ideal form is none at all, but society, being composed of individuals, needed some form of organization if it were to be a successful society. These men, of English heritage, looked upon the parliamentary system of Great Britain as a template of what could be accomplished, and they took the opportunity of being isolated from England to not only rebel against the king’s tyranny, but to break from the empire completely and establish their own society.

This was to be a grand experiment of man’s ability to govern himself without having the onerous royalty handing down privelages and allowances from on high. No time in history had ever seen this bold, assertive process tried, much less succeed. All governing to that time had been by monarchy or empirical conquest, and the rights and privelages handed down at the will of the ultimate ruler. This new nation was going to give the people the authority to govern themselves as they saw fit and as the Creator had given them the inherent right to do. All of the world’s powers were betting that the new nation would fail and become an autocracy, if, and that was a huge if, they could win their seperation by arms against the premier military of the world.

We have only to read the Declaration of Independence to understand the tyranny these British Americans had come to know. English soldiers being quartered in the homes of citizens, writs of action being issued against them with no jurisprudence, taxation of every aspect of life while having no representation in the process, property being seized or destroyed without cause, and, eventually, the attempt to disarm the people and impose harsh retribution for their disloyalty to the king. It was with these circumstances prevailing that the seperation from, and war with England was undertaken.

We know the outcome of that war and we know the Constitution was created to insure that the government would always be subject to the will of the people. The seven articles and ten ammendments of the original Constitution were so constructed that each clause and section was in support of all the rest. Every word of every paragraph was argued over, written and re-written to leave no doubt as to their intention and effect. Men of sound mind and being well educated pondered over what was to be, how it was to be implemented, and how that was in support of the whole. Benjamin Franklin, having seen the divisiveness and stubborness that these men were prone to in their work, after reaching an agreement as to the content of the document, admonished the delegates to not leave from here with the word of conflict and disagreement overcome on their tongues, but to agree to leave for home professing the great sense of cooperation, fair play, and agreement in all things as unanimous so as to give no reason for foes to rejoice in their need to compromise, but to present to all, especially foreign eyes, a spirit of brotherhood, morality, and accomplishment of all they had sought.

We citizens of today have seen the near demolition of the Constitution, not as legal ammendments to it or the repeal of its foundation, but by the re-interpretation of not only what was written and intended, but what "should have been", or was implied to be the meaning and purpose of its text. Where a clause of an article stated the pre-emptory action to be this or that, it has been interpolated to also include this or that was to be done if the clause did not prohibit it. Certain assurances that the government would not become intrusive in the affairs of men have been wrongly enforced as meaning that no man would be allowed to affect the same affairs off limits to government. If it isn’t distictly prohibited, an action by government allowed under other circumstances has been deemed to be demanded under all possible turns of events. But, a bit of insight into the creation of the federal government can be gained by reading the notes and thoughts of those who participated in that creation, and of the grievances filed against the government by the states when they saw the authority of the federals being in opposition to the Constitution.

Thomas Jefferson, in drafting the Kentucky Resolutions in 1798, began with why the states had formed the General Government.

"1. Resolved, That the several States composing the United States of America, are not united on the principle of unlimited submission to their General Government; but that, by a compact under the style and title of a Constitution for the United States, and of amendments thereto, they constituted a General Government for special purposes, -- delegated to that government certain definite powers, reserving, each State to itself, the residuary mass of right to their own self-government; and that whensoever the General Government assumes undelegated powers, its acts are unauthoritative, void, and of no force; that to this compact each State acceded as a State, and is an integral party, its co-States forming, as to itself, the other party: that the government created by this compact was not made the exclusive or final judge of the extent of the powers delegated to itself; since that would have made its discretion, and not the Constitution, the measure of its powers…"

This supports in re-affirmation Article 1, Sect 8-10 and the 10th Ammendment to the Constitution, the former granting and limiting the explicit law making power of the congress, and the latter proclaiming that any power not delegated to congress by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people.

 

Jefferson continues his prosecution of the government with more detail.

"2. Resolved, That the Constitution of the United States, having delegated to Congress a power to punish treason, counterfeiting the securities and current coin of the United States, piracies, and felonies committed on the high seas, and offences against the law of nations, and no other crimes whatsoever; and it being true as a general principle, and one of the amendments to the Constitution having also declared, that "the powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people," therefore the act of Congress, passed on the 14th day of July, 1798, and intituled "An Act in addition to the act intitled An Act for the punishment of certain crimes against the United States," as also the act passed by them on the -- day of June, 1798, intitled "An Act to punish frauds committed on the bank of the United States," (and all their other acts which assume to create, define, or punish crimes, other than those so enumerated in the Constitution,) are altogether void, and of no force; and that the power to create, define, and punish such other crimes is reserved, and, of right, appertains solely and exclusively to the respective States, each within its own territory.

In the subsequent resolutions Jefferson proves his case against the federal government, congress specifically, of enacting law which it had not been specifically empowered to enact, and that because congress had overstepped their constitutional powers the laws were invalid, of no power or force of law, and that those powers NOT given to congress were retained by the states or the people.

In the seventh resolution, Jefferson addresses the government’s "construction" of additional, implied power to those parts of the Constitution that were meant to allow some freedom of legislation in their execution of the powers already specified.

"7. Resolved, That the construction applied by the General Government (as is evidenced by sundry of their proceedings) to those parts of the Constitution of the United States which delegate to Congress a power "to lay and collect taxes, duties, imports, and excises, to pay the debts, and provide for the common defence and general welfare of the United States," and "to make all laws which shall be necessary and proper for carrying into execution the powers vested by the Constitution in the government of the United States, or in any department or officer thereof," goes to the destruction of all limits prescribed to their power by the Constitution: that words meant by the instrument to be subsidiary only to the execution of limited powers, ought not to be so construed as themselves to give unlimited powers, nor a part to be so taken as to destroy the whole residue of that instrument: that the proceedings of the General Government under color of these articles, will be a fit and necessary subject of revisal and correction, at a time of greater tranquillity, while those specified in the preceding resolutions call for immediate redress.

 

Friends, we are not, today, in the same straits that the founders faced. We have no soldiers in our streets to impose laws on the public, much less being made to provide them room and board. We are not, as yet, being arrested for voicing our opinions or opposition to the actions of the government. We are not, as of this date, being subjected to prosecution under whimsically drafted and illegal directives having no force of law. Not yet do we face the tyranny described as being unsufferable as to warrant armed revolt. Not yet. But when that day does come, and I hope it does not, the actions we as Americans take in securing the federal government’s inability to oppress will not be an overthrow of government, but WILL be the dutiful arrest and incarceration of elected officials who acted in direct violation of the law of the land by the authority having the jurisdiction to do so, we, the people. Instead of overthrowing government we will be restoring the lawful restrictions on a government guilty of acting with the color of authority not prescribed to it.

If that time is inevitable, we the people would do ourselves great favor to have predestined the return to power of the last legal officers holding those essential positions only until proper elections can be held. No suspending of the Constitution, no declaration of martial law, no legal battles over the authority of the people to act need be endured by the people. We, the people, having suffered the insufferable for longer than should be suffered, will have the support and sworn allegiance of all patriots to that Constitution we are re-affirming as the law of the land, according to that law of the land.

Until that day comes, if ever it does, we, the people can still act to peacefully regain control of the federal works. We can insisit that our state legislatures adopt resolutions of sovereignty similar to those drafted by Jefferson for Kentucky. We can legally withhold all revenue from going to the feds by establishing the state as our proxy in tax collection. All employers and other sources of revenue for the feds can be made to abide by state laws in their withholding and remittance of that money. Banks can be helpful by not making any transfers of funds by or for the federal treasury. It was the states that created the federal government for limited purposes, and it is the states acting with the authority of the people who can first stop the usurpation of power, indict those responsible for the violations of the law, and re-establish a federal government that is absolutely limited, once again, to the specific roles granted to it by the Constitution. In one fell swoop ALL the entitlement legislation, tax codes, federal bureaus of everything, the SCOTUS, the EPA, all gun control laws, the destruction of religious freedoms, the power of the biased media, all of it, can be eliminated. Just reinstitute the Constitution, as written. It is the Supreme Law of the Land. Let us regain our control of government by obeying, protecting, and defending that which affirms our power to do just that. There can be no effective opposition if we all act in accordance with it.

PS: It is not common knowledge that the Senate, made up of two senators from each state elected by a vote of that legislature, was not meant to be representitives of the people of the state, but, instead, to be the representitives of the state government to Washington. The Constitution was ammended by Congress to make the election of state Senators by the people, and to, thereby, become additional representitives of the citizens. It, though, essentially became the death of the state's voice in Washington. Congress at work again.

STRATEGY & TACTICS FOR RECLAIMING AMERICA

In all adversarial situations; sporting contests, war, trials, debates, etc., one of the first activities performed by both sides in their preperation toward securing victory is identification and analysis of the enemy and their strengths and weaknesses. It is certainly no different in the competitive arena of local, state, and national political races.

I am of the opinion that we, the common citizens of America, have been indoctrinated, even brainwashed, if you will, into the terribly incorrect practice of equating the politicians and their personal, selfish goals with the common American voters who choose to register as members of that party, when, in reality, these common Americans are not in any way comparable to the elitist, self-promoting, corrupt politicians who claim to represent their values. I believe, rather, that the vast majority of American voters, regardless of the party they choose to associate themselves with, are really very much alike in what they believe politically and morally, and share the same vision of what America is, should be, and what the source of our trouble as Americans is.
Simply put, American Democrat voters are not the enemy of American Republican voters. In fact, all American voters of all flavors share a common enemy, the professional, corrupt politicians of all parties who are re-elected time after time to a veritable lifetime position, neither fearing or respecting either the law or the People.
 
Of course, as with anything, there are exceptions to the rules. There are those in our nation who hold no regard whatsoever for this nation, its founding premises, or the results of our efforts in the world. Being taught by ungrateful parents and elitist academics, they are proud to criticize, lie, make personal attacks on any who criticize them, and, generally, claim that America is the prime evil force in the world. But, Americans raised by responsible parents and taught they must be accountable for their actions, those holding to the ethical values of self reliance, the rewards of hard work, and the respect for their fellow man can not possibly see America in that evil, distorted way. We will, then, for the purposes of this post, ignore those traitorous vermon and their false accusations as they are irrelevant to our cause.

With the distinction being made between the politicians of the various parties and the American voters associated with those parties, we have a framework with which to accurately identify and analyze the true adversaries, to take stock of our resources for confronting our adversary, and make logical, effective strategic and tactical plans to insure we are victorious over that enemy of American values.

Who are the adversaries? The People of America, the voters, on one side versus the self-aggrandizing, lying, professional politicians of any and all parties as the opposition to the People. It is not, as we have been led to believe, the liberally minded American voters against the more conservative minded American voters, because, in all honesty, there is not a great deal of meaningful difference in the core beliefs of the American voters. There are, of course, differences in views between these two groups of Americans, but these differences are tremendously over emphasized and made to seem much more divisive than they are. And who, we ask innocently, would want to play upon those differences and use them to divide the American voters into adversarial, smaller factions who cannot effectively make decisions or influence election outcomes? I’ll grant you just one guess. But we Americans, when we are able to agree that we don’t truly despise each other, don’t need even that one guess. We all, Democrats and Republicans alike, can immediately determine the guilty parties and clearly see their motivation. And suddenly the success they have had in their scheming against We the People becomes very regretfully apparent.

By causing the voters of the one party to appear to the other party's voters as opponents in the disputes and contentions between the politicians themselves they effectively divide the People against themselves, assuring that the People will never constitute a large enough voting block to be effective in controlling them in any way. They have succeeded in dividing and conquering the People they are supposed to be working for through false idealogical disagreements, and they are then free from being held accountable for their actions, those being the intentional mistreatment and outright despotic rule of the nation in direct and flagrant violation of the law of the land. They have made themselves impervious to the law and immune to the will of the People.
We now see the true enemy for who he is, we know his motivation, we understand his tactics, and we voters of both parties should now be in total agreement that 1) they must be thoroughly defeated to reclaim control of our nation, and return her to her rightful glory, and 2) we voters must unite to defeat them.
 
So, what will be our overall strategy? The sweeping clean of Congress and the hiring of new, sincerely motivated representitives. 
What tactical procedures must we employ to succeed in our strategy to replace our leaders?  To unite Democrat and Republican voters into an overwhelming majority voting block of like minded American voters.
 
We, the People, need to agree on these basic truths that…
  1. we, the American voting public, are not the same as the politicians we have been duped into voting for over, and over, and over again.
  2. the professional, lifetime politicians are our common enemy, not the American voters of the other political party.
  3. we will, as Americans, in order to save our nation and retake control of our government, agree to vote to replace all incumbent members of congress with a non-professional, policy motivated candidate from our own respective parties. The primary election, every two years, is where this must be done. By replacing both the Republican and Democratic candidates running for that position we eliminate the possibility of any member of congress being re-elected.
  4. the term "re-election" is vulgar and profane in its effective meaning and results, and is not an option which we can use in our battle to sweep Congress clean.
  5. re-election is the vehicle that has given us more and more of the same old same old, and it should be considered evil and injurious to we Americans and our country.
As a result of this replacement of congressional incumbents, much of the destructive legislation and policies implemented by the former members can be repealed, overridden, or just plain abandoned. Taxes can be lowered or eliminated, entitlements to special interest groups of no service to the People can be stopped, and our natural resources can be made available to us to improve our standard of living and promote an overall well being for all citizens.
Also, these newly elected, non-professional congressmen will be fully aware of the unity of the voters that ousted their predecessors and will be more inclined to stick to the business of the People and to obey the laws of the land in their work lest they become victims of that same righteous wrath of the People. Then will be the proper time for the underlying political and philisophical differences between we Americans to re-manifest themselves, but it will be among Americans united by the concerns of the best interests of the People and not among professional politicians motivated by greed and the lust for power. That, as one TV personality says, is a good thing.
 
Americans acting in concert for the best interests of their neighbors back home, and the nation as a whole working for the preservation of America's sovereignty and the inalienable individual liberties granted by that one, ultimate power of nature and expensively insured by the precious blood of our most brave. That, my friends of all parties, is the American way. That, democratic allies, republican cohorts, is what has made America the exceptional success in all our endeavors. As one man of some integrity once said, a house divided against itself can not last. It is inevitable that we must stand united, or we will surely fall divided. Let us all be the American's we need at this time. Let us all step up to the task we know must be done. Let us adopt and employ the unity and single mindedness of those incredible framers of our nation. Let us rise to the calling of our nation in peril lest we lose all we are or ever hope to become.
Let us pledge to each other, as they did two centuries ago, our Lives, our Fortunes, and our sacred Honor in support of our independence and the nation that makes our way of life possible.

Americans! Democrat and Republican patriots!
 Are we ready to unite as a majority voting block and win back control of our country?

Americans! Can we agree that, as Americans, we are more alike than we are different?

Americans! Democrat and Republican voters! Can we unite and vote out ALL of our corrupted members of congress and vote in new Democrat and Republican representitives?

Americans! WILL we do this great thing that only we have the power to do? WILL WE PUT FORTH THE NEEDED EFFORT?

Not can we, but WILL we do the right thing for the nation we all love? Will we lay aside the minor conceptual differences of procedure and political theocracy between us and, together, UNITED, assert our only available power as voters, to strategically retake control of our government?

I say let’s get ‘er done! Vote them all out of power in every congressional primary election for the next three, two-year congressional election cycles. That will replace them all in six years. The great building with the dome will resonate with the sincere motivation of these new, FRESH members to honestly work to keep America strong, independant, and insure it will always be the land where the People have a government, not the other way around.

God bless America, and Americans of all beliefs, and protect us from the evil politicians and all of their evil parties and schemes.

LET’S JUST DO IT !!

Most of us here at TownHall are aware of the facts regarding the mood of the People, the election results, what the prospects of an Obama administration hold for us, and what the future of our nation could be because of these things. We have been able to determine the reasons for these things, and, for the most part, the remedies necessary to prevent the destruction of America as we have known it. The thing that frustrates us and causes the sense of urgency and impending doom we all feel is the immense and overwhelming, almost impossible task of getting those in Congress to listen to us and then get to work doing what needs to be done.

Just getting the sincere attention of our elected officials is daunting. But the thing that stops our efforts dead is our inability to convince them that we know, better than they, what needs to be done, that there is more to gain from our plan than from the road they’re on, and that business as usual is no longer acceptible. Their arrogance of authority and the everyday opportunities to line their pockets influence their thinking and actions billions of times more than our annoying letters and phone calls do.

 

There is only one way that we can demand their attention and make them listen and hear what we have to say, and that is to increase our annoyance factor so much that it is impossible for them to ignore. We need to increase the number of those annoying letters and calls to the point that pink message slips cover their and their secretary’s desks, and bags and bags of letters fill the hallway outside their office. There should be so many mail trucks lined up and waiting outside that they can’t even park their Mercedes. That kind of annoyance would get anyone’s attention. That kind of a show of power will strike fear into their hearts.

Our job is to convince everyone we know and everyone we come in contact with to send those letters and make those calls, and to not quit with just one or two. To really demand their attention, to make them truly fear We, People, we need to flood them with dozens and dozens of letters, and the same amount of phone calls, every day, week after week, until that congressman buckles under the weight and makes the evening news with a press conference promising to heed our message and do the right things.

This sounds like the same ole’ same ole’, straight-out-of-the-box advice we always hear when people try to tell us what we can do about government. Well, it is the same, with one exception. I am not pretending that your call or letter is going to make any difference. What I AM telling you is that time after time, person after famous person insists that the strategery [sic] of massive amounts of letters and line jamming numbers of phone calls DO get their attention. And there is no need to be overly polite about our demands, although anger and insult won’t work either. A stearn, insistent tact without all the sugary "with all respects" and "wish to requests" will have more of an impact. And when they all demand they do what they promised when campaigning, and when they all threaten to vote for someone else next time sending them home unemployed, they DO have an influence on their actions in office. The public outcry against the McCain immigration and amnesty bill in 2007, is a perfect example of what I’m saying.

If We, the People, can have that kind of influence over a single bill with a few thousand calls and letters, just imagine what power we can generate when we ramp that up by a factor of 100x or 1000x to a larger number of officials. If we were to drown every congressman in a sea of paper and make it impossible to even dial 9-1-1, we could either drive them insane, or over to our way of thinking.

And what’s more, we need to decide, very early on, which members of Congress we can have the most influence over, and which ones will just ignore us no matter what we do. Princess Pelosi and her lover, Dingy Harry Reid, are perfect candidates for being tossed into the toilet and forgotten as they will never bend to our influence. But there ARE those elected officials who have tried to do right in their jobs, or have just given up trying, and those are worth the effort to influence until they prove that they, too, just need to be replaced by the Voter’s Revolt next election cycle.

This may be more work and take more time and effort than we are used to having to do. I mean this will require unprecedented numbers of people willing to pay higher long distance bills and buy more postage stamps to really do the job. We will need millions of folks to make calls to relatives back east or out in Californication. We need to contact those we haven’t spoken to in years or decades. It will require a dedication to this effort that some won’t be willing to make. But just look at the alternatives if we DON’T do something effective. Our very way of life, the liberties fought and died for by so many heroes, the very existence of America the Beautiful are the stakes in this battle folks. And if that isn’t worth every minute of time and ounce of effort you can possibly invest, then what do you have to say to all those in Arlington Cemetary, or in Fallujah, or to their parents, wives, and children? What would you tell old Honest Abe if he were to meet you at the pearly gates? How much more, oh, so much, much more, have so many given in protecting and insuring the survival of truth, justice, and the American way? Can we ever claim semper fidelis? Will we be forever faithful? Will we earn and deserve the title "American"? I believe we all have that in us, or we wouldn’t be here now.

So…. Let’s get to it and just DO it! JUST DO IT !! Our very lives depend on it.

VOTERS OF AMERICA REVOLT!!

--Are you disgusted with Congress and how it ignores the best interests of the American people?

--Do you believe members of Congress are basically corrupt and are all about getting rich on taxpayer's money?

--Do you believe Congress ignores the Constitution when it suits their agenda?

--Would you like to see all members of Congress lose their jobs and new members elected that are not professional politicians?

If you say yes to these, then make a decision to be a part of a Voter's Revolt. All you need to do is go to the polling place in the primary election in 2010, (and 2012, and 2014) and get into the booth with your ballot and do not vote for any incumbent members of Congress.

Instead, find the challenger running against the current member of Congress and vote for them. Do not vote to re-elect any candidate. Do not vote for any professional politician (lawyers). Look for the airline pilot, or the pizza parlor owner, or the dentist who is challenging the incumbent and vote for him.

If all of us voters resolve to do this, every two years for the next three election cyles, we can sweep the fat cat incumbents out of office and improve the overall character of Congress. These newly elected amateurs would know how they got there, and what happened to the incumbent, and would be more willing to represent those who voted for him and toe the line. If he does screw up, just vote him out in two years.

VOTE THEM ALL OUT !!

TAKE BACK AMERICA !!

BE A PART OF VOTER'S REVOLT !!

Make a difference when you vote. Be a part of a historic action by American voters.

A SOLUTION FOR AMERICA THAT WILL WORK

The people of the USA are all angry and totally fed up with the actions of Congress. The approval rating for Congress has dropped to 11% while Geoge W. Bush’s rating has climbed to 30%. Still, the majority members in both houses keep blaming our current woes on the failed policies of the Bush administration.

We all know that the overwhelming cause for the high cost of fuel and everything that depends on fuel is the scarce supply. We also know that if the oil companies in America were allowed to explore for and produce those resources we know to exist within our borders, the increased supply on the world market would push prices down and that would cause a reduction in price in the markets as a whole. We know who it is that has been the biggest factor in the severe reduction in America’s oil production in recent years. We know that Congress routinely votes themselves pay raises, seldom acts in the best interest of the people, and spends a lot of time on subjects they should not be involved in. The democrat majority has accomplished nothing since the last election except to deepen the financial crunch the people find themselves in, and the republicans have just sat back and done nothing substantial to help the people. Both sides in both houses of Congress are equally to blame for the state of America today and the majority of Americans from all parties are looking for a way for the people to assert their constitutional authority over their out of control government. Well, there is only one way by which the people of America can control Congress, and that is voting on election day.

But just voting isn’t going to do anything. The people of America have to realize that the politicians have created and promoted the division between the two parties in order to keep Americans from agreeing with voters from the opposite party and voting for common policies that would cause real change in the way congress operates. We have been made to believe that Democrat and Republican voters have nothing in common and are opposite in their views of what America should be. This is a false notion used to keep voters from uniting and demanding Congress respond to the will of the people. All statistics from every source show that just over 60% of registered voters in America hold a view of America that is center to just right of center. Very few are far right or far left. This means that most Americans agree with each other on what needs to be done for America to remain strong politically, militarily, and economically.

Knowing that most Americans are disgusted with a greedy, non-responsive Congress, and knowing that the majority of Americans agree on what America should be, and knowing that the only means we have of changing our government for the better is to vote, the following conclusion is logical, obvious, and a sound method to affect the change needed.

We, the People, the common voting citizens who believe it necessary to change the way Congress operates, need to agree that we all want what is best for America and her people and then decide to replace every member of Congress in both houses and of both parties by not voting for the re-election of any present member, but to vote for a non-incumbent, preferably non-politician for every seat in the senate and house of representitives in every election until no member exists with more than one term in office. This will effectively destroy the long time good ole’ boy cliques and elite power holders who have lost touch with the people they were elected to represent. It will put into power a group of more motivated people who will be more representitive of the people than of their own interests. Seeing the manner in which they were elected over the more famous and powerful career politicians will be a message to them that we, the People still hold the power over the government and that knowledge will tend to make them more willing to do what is in the best interests of Americans.

This is the only effective power we still hold as citizens, and it can only be effective if we all unite in a majority block for a single purpose and vote for a single result. The old patriotic truth of "United we stand, divided we fall," applies directly to the common voting people of America. Only by each voter deciding to vote for a new congress will this change take place. There is no need to vote for a candidate from a party other than yours, or to compromise your political ideals. There is only the need to vote for a candidate who is NOT already a member. No re-elections is our goal. We all know this is needed, we all know we have the means to make it happen. Let’s all, Democrats and Republicans, Independants and Libertarians, resolve to make the change that will return our government to our control.

VOTE ALL THE BUMS OUT OF OFFICE!!

RETAKE CONTROL OF OUR NATION IN A VOTER’S REVOLT!!

Make the decision to elect a new congress. Tell your friends we can make a difference if we all vote to replace the corrupt congress in power. It requires only that we all agree as to what the problem is, and agree that this action will, at least, rid us of the entrenched fat cat politicians who have created the problems we all face. If the new congress is ineffective, we can replace them just as easily. At least we won’t have the thieves and liars in power that we have now, and that is a major improvement anyone would welcome.

A FEW WORDS ON CO2, CLIMATE CHANGE, AND CONGRESS

As early as 1954 the state of California realized that automobile emissions were the source of air quality deterioration. By the early 60s automotive engineers and the Department of Motor Vehicles had enough research results to implement emission controls on all vehicles, new and used. Their goal was to achieve substantial reductions in targeted pollutants with the ideal result being auto exhaust that consisted of only carbon dioxide and water vapor, both proven to be naturally occurring and non-toxic. Of course, this ideal result could not be attained, but it was the goal California would strive for. The targeted pollutants which were the culprits in formation of smog and suspects in the depletion of the ozone layer were carbon monoxide (CO), sulfur dioxide (SO2), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), total photochemical oxidants (TPO), total suspended particles (TSP), hydrocarbons (HC), and lead (Pb). Eventually the hydrocarbons were dropped from the list, oxidants (TPO) was replaced by ground level ozone, and suspended particles (TSP) was replaced with a particulate matter (PM) standard.

What you don’t see in any of the standards for auto pollution control is a requirement to reduce carbon dioxide. In fact, at that time, carbon dioxide emission was listed as one of the favorable results being sought by the state as a method of cleaning the atmosphere of existing ozone and carbon monoxide. The climate experts throughout the state were of the opinion, and had demonstrated in repeated laboratory trials, that carbon dioxide was not only non-toxic and non-polluting, but was beneficial to the atmosphere, plant life, and climate. Since that time the CO2 levels in the atmosphere have risen from .0025 to .0033 percent, or 25 parts per million to 33 parts per million.

Today, the majority of climatologists agree that some small part of that rise is probably due to manmade causes, but the majority of that rise has been caused by the cyclic warming of the interglacial period we have been in for near 10,000 years. Yes, I said they agree that the rise in CO2 is caused by climate warming, not the other way around.

So why is the climate warming? Well, if you consider that around 10,000 years ago there were ice sheets three miles thick reaching all the way to the equator from both the arctic and antarctic poles, the only choice the climate had to go, temperature wise, was warmer. We are still in the interglacial warming period, but most scientists believe we are reaching the peak of global warming. In fact, for the past 12 years there has been a levelling off and even a slight decrease in average worldwide temperatures.

Over 33,000 scientists agree that a slight increase in temperature and CO2 is far and away a more desirable scenario than would be a plunge in temperature and the slide into the next glacial period. Even if an ice age were not imminent, it is a fact that all life on Earth benefits when the temperature is slightly warmer and CO2 levels slightly higher than the calculated averages of the past several million years. In 1816, the year following the eruption of Mt. Tambora, global temperatures fell dramatically causing crop killing freezes in May and June, lake and river ice as far south as Pennsylvania in July and August, and was known as the "Year Without a Summer". Agricultural failures led to starvation and a lowered state of immunity which resulted in death from disease.

Those folks who suffered through that year could have done with a bit more heat and CO2. Humans as a species have always prospered in warmer regions and periods as opposed to colder temperatures.

The climate change scare mongers claim a rise in CO2 is causing warming of the atmosphere in the range of about 0.4 to 1.5*C per century. What a puny heat wave that is. That won’t even cause you to break a sweat. They claim that rise is causing the ice sheets at the poles to melt. Satellite measurements show, though, that the ice sheets this year are already 12% larger than at this time last year. Polar bear populations have grown approximately 18% in the past decade, pollock has increased approximately 7% despite their status as the most commercially fished, and sea level continues to rise at a rate of 1-4 centimeters per year at specific locations. In other locations around the world sea level has actually dropped as much as 8-10 centimeters. NOAA scientists say that plate tectonics and wind have more effect on world wide sea level fluctuations than the melting of ice sheets would, if they were actually melting.

The bottom line to all this is we, as a nation and internationally as well, are being duped and forced into making drastic, VERY expensive, long term changes in almost every aspect of our lives in an attempt to prevent a slate of supposed disastrous, man made changes in Earth’s climate that are exagerated and fabricated and over which man has no control. Legislation of all kinds demand investment and research into unproven, high cost energy replacements, financial and even criminal penalties for causing CO2 emissions, industrial limitations on emissions of future production items, the forced banning of the production and usage of inexpensive, readily available, proven energy resources, and the enrichment of the fat cat proponents of such false climate change scare tactics to the detriment of every individual wage earner or business owner.

The Eath’s climate is a highly complex, ever changing machanism driven entirely by the heat from the sun. It has many, many subtle and evident subsystems which act to cool excessive heat and warm extreme cooling. No scientist who believes in the scientific method admits to understanding the vast workings of Earth’s climate, and they all agree that consensus of even 200 trillion scientists is not a method for validating or disproving anything. Only experimentation of a hypothesis with reproducable results, and validation of those results by observation of actual climate conditions can be used as valid reason for action. In other words, we don’t know enough about how the climate works to justify the extreme financial and social upheaval being demanded by a group of scientists, environmental extremists, and politicians who have a great deal to gain from such drastic changes. It is just not ethical to cause such harm and suffering over what amounts to fables and myths. We must vote in a totally new Congress and convince the new members to reverse the policies and legislation enacted in an attempt to control the climate.

Subnote: It is my opinion that the impotent rally of GOP representitives after the speaker adjourned the session is a blatant attempt to garner support for the re-election of those involved. Their actions will not change democratic policy, they have acted seven years too late, and there was a very puny number of participants. I think it was all a show put on by members who realized the voters are pissed off and believed they could make up for their years of inaction with a few days of acting like they cared. After all, why didn’t they try this protest BEFORE Pelosi ended the session? Why didn’t they get this excited last year? Complacency?

MY LETTER TO Ms. PELOSI

I wrote and sent this letter to Nancy Pelosi on Aug. 1, 2008. I was urprised to see much the same sentiment in a lot of posts here, so I make my letter public. Her reply, if any, I will post when received. I have sent her five total and have received only one response.
 

 
Ms. Pelosi,

I know you are a very smart person and, therefore, can not truly believe the policies you are forcing on the people of America are in their best interests. Therefore, you must be aware that these policies are harming Americans but are oursuing their implementation, by decree, in spite of that harm. That is in violation of the oath of office you swore to and in violation of the Constitution.

Are you aware that you and Sen. Harry Reid have become the two most hated politicians in the USA? You have to be. Even your democratic constituents are crying out for you to allow drilling of our natural resources that are currently blocked by a law Congress passed. You fellow representitives even see the need for this action yet you continue to act as a dictatorial madwoman, bending and breaking House rules, and making them up as you see fit to prevent even the debate over your energy non-policies.

You and Mr. Reid are personally responsible for considerably lowering the standard of living of the people, causing the evaporation of savings and investments accumulated by the people, the high prices of everything that has any link to petroleum including food, transportation, electrical power, health care, and corporate viability. If it is found that any of the people who have perished in the heatwave in Texas had to forego paying power bills to buy food and gasoline, a very good case for you being criminall responsible for those lives lost could, and should be made.

You are acting in a manner that is directly opposite to what you swore to in your oath and that is a crime. You have caused serious, if not irreperable harm to the people and commerce of the USA. That is a crime. It is possible that you have caused the untimely deaths of people and that is a crime. I predict that as soon as you are no longer in office that prosecution will be sought against you and Mr. Reid. So why not make it easier on yourself and especially the American people and come down of your throne and do the will of the People. EVERYONE knows what that is.

PLENTY OF REASON FOR LOTS OF PROSECUTIONS

All around us, everyday, we see the results of con artists at work. Those who know better are promoting junk science, illegal policies, and collecting money in everyway they can, from anyone, anyway they can and it is damging Americans grievously. We used to arrest and jail cons like these.
 
1.  Nancy Pelosi is violating the Constitution, the Rules of the House, and federal laws by not allowing debate or votes on issues, by refusing to hold confirmation hearings for, literally, hundreds of government appointees, denying the people their right to their own natural resources, and by insisting that flawed, junk science is reality and creating methods by which she can make the people pay, and pay, and suffer even more.  CON ARTIST !!  TYRANT !!
DESPOT !!  FASCIST !!
 
2.  Al Gore has made BUNCHES of money on speaking tours, his movie and book, the Nobel Prize, from the UN, and other ways by promoting a flawed, unprovable, theory of environmental snake oil as fact, and creating government agencies, international treaties, and scaring the children to death, all for his own promotion of himself.  CON ARTIST !!  LIAR !!   NARCISSIST !!
 
3.  Barack Obama has lied, lied, and lied, made VERY bad choices for associates, insulted the People, promised everything  of which he can give none, been proven to be an America hater, a terrorist lover, a self centered, egotistical narcissist, and uhhh, uhhh, a uhhhh, terrible speaker.  None of which is criminal, but just you wait.

Did you know that it is illegal and against the Rules of the House and Senate for any congress member to call a sitting president a liar, or any other derogatory name? It is. They can not insult him as an individual, only his policies as president. They MUST not be disrespectful of the office.

IT IS OUR ONLY WAY TO SAVE THE USA

Many of us are desperately concerned with the well being and future of our great nation as well we should be. The forefathers told us that when the government ceases to be a cause for good for the People, we have the duty to replace it and start over. The tools they gave us for doing that are few but effective if used correctly. The most effective of those tools is our voice at the voting booth.
 
Most Americans are fed up and angry with the decisions being made by Congress members from both parties. This is a road sign which all Americans should heed. We must VOTE EVERY MEMBER OUT OF OFFICE and purge Congress of the lifers who hold power there, in both houses.
 
We, as Americans who believe in constitutional rule by law, should lay aside our political differences and take up those beliefs we hold in unison. That Congress is no longer representitive of the will of We the People, and, instead, are acting in their own injust, selfish interests to hold on to the power that their many years in power have given.
 
We must, as individuals, first decide that re-election of ANY member, no matter how friendly they may seem, is just not an option. That they have, and will continue to vote in the interest of more power and money for themselves. We must then take that message to everyone we know and have even the least amount of influence with, in an effort to garner a majority of Americans who believe it is time for a true, tangible change, and not that intangible change as espoused so frequently by one of our presidential candidates. The POTUS can not make the changes our nation needs to survive. Only we can do that. We, united against the real culprits, members of Congress, can bring our government back under the control of we the People. It is desperately necessary that this happens. Otherwise, within the next few election cycles, we will have a lifelong, permanent Congress whom we will have no influence over.
 
So, do your duty as a patriot. Offer a solution for real survival to everyone you know. Tell them to resist pulling the lever in favor of any incumbent, regardless of party. Do what is right for America and VOTE THE BUMBS OUT OF OFFICE. We can do it, if we just stand together for the one thing we all desire, the American way of life restored. It happened in 1933, it can happen again if we all make the effort.

USE THE TOOLS WE HAVE TO SAVE AMERICA

A VOTER’S  REVOLT

The reasons we have such an unresponsive, corrupt congress are…

  1. 40-50% of voters don’t even vote.
  2. While giving very low approval ratings, (11% or lower) voters have a habit of re-electing their incumbent members 96.5% of the time since 1980, and 92% before that.
  3. Too many voters from both sides choose to believe the divisive lies told by elected officials meant to keep us from uniting with a majority of votes, and blame the other party’s voters, resort to name calling, and divide the People.
  4. Many voters are single-issue minded. This makes them easy to manipulate and more likely not to vote.

We must STOP THE REPEAT OFFENDERS by not re-electing any of the incumbent members of Congress. It is OUR fault, Democrat and Republican voters, that these crooks have had 20 and 30 years in Congress to do their dirty work and become so arrogant. The longer we put this off, the longer it will take and the more painful it will be on us when we do decide to retake our government.

WHO ARE WE TALKING ABOUT ?

In almost all of the blogs on TH, we can find labels used like the political left...   or  the Libs and their fascism...
 
I have always used labels like those and depended on everyone knowing who I was referring to.  I used them to mean ALL politicians or anyone else who register and vote democratic.
 
But I have recently experienced an epiphany and now I realize that the democratic voters have not done anything to deserve our anger that we rep voters haven't done too. We are all guilty of having been lied to by the candidates, lied to by the incumbents, and lied to by the press and campaign workers or spokesmen.We then got screwed up tight when it came time for them to make decisions in our favor.
 
All Rep and Dem voters are guilty of gullibillity and trusting in a sincere sounding con job, and you see what we have in Washington as a result on both sides.
 
So, is it safe for me to believe that when labels like those above are used, we are ALL referring to politicians and their campaign machines, and  NOT to the voters who were duped just like we Rep voters have been?  Is that what all of us are intending to do? We don't blame those fellow citizens who are as angry about things as we are, right?  Isn't that the reality for all of us?  We don't include them in our insults do we ?
 
If you agree with that conclusion, let's all do something that will show all the voters of all parties that we are not calling them criminals, just the politicians from their party. That will tend to ease tensions between We, the People, and possibly bring together a HUGE block of voters that can win any election hands down. After all, the dem voters are just as pissed off at congress as we are. Let's get them to vote all the dems out while we vote out the rotten reps.
 
Something like a disclaimer in our posts..... like this, maybe...
 
Unless noted otherwise, labels such as Liberals, Dems,  Leftists, NeoCons,  Far right wigers, etc.
are meant as references to politicians, candidates, and their staffers and not to democratic or republican voters .
 
Can you imagine what would or could happen if all dem and rep voters got together and decided that they were going to sweep congress clean and start over? We would win America back without even sweating, and feel  really good about our fellow Americans too.
 
Try to make it known, somehow,  that you are not disrespectful to citizens, only to the criminals in office, unless you do mean voters too, then go for it. 
 
Just trying to unite American Voters.
